Banner - Parts & Accessories

We can supply you with Parts and Accessories, regardless of the brand of your garage door or opener

There are some parts of your garage door system that you can change yourself. But, to avoid any accidental injury, for several parts like springs, we strongly recommend it to be done by an experienced garage door technician.

Replacement parts are available for your garage door system, as are accessories to enhance it's look.

The services we offer:

Replace broken garage door springs

Broken garage door springs are very common. Extreme weather changes and usual wear and tear can damage garage door springs. Until it is repaired, a garage door should not be opened as it will be very heavy. Our team of experienced service technicians will replace your broken springs and will ensure that your garage door will be operational again correctly.

Replace broken cables

Garage door cable seems small but they’re an essential safety mechanism. If your garage door doesn’t work correctly, it might be because you have a broken cable. Be cautious, it could be dangerous to repair a broken cable yourself because the cables are under extreme tension. We recommend you call a local specialized repairman for your own safety.

Replace damaged panels

A garage door panel could be replaced anytime but it also can be a challenge. Are you better to replace the entire door or just a panel? Let a professional evaluate the panel damage and give you the best advice to meet your needs.

Replace rollers

A malfunctioning noisy garage door may be due to bent or broken rollers. To have a smooth, quiet garage door operation, we recommend to change worn rollers and hinges. Put this task into our technician hands and the problem will be quickly solved.

Weatherstripping Replacement

Having good weatherstripping can help you save on your energy bill and keep the cold outside your garage. It’s also used to prevent debris, animals and insects from getting inside your garage. If you’re looking to replace your weatherstripping, our specialists can help you.

Fix a garage door off its track

A garage door off its track is a common garage door issue. If this happens, stop operating it immediately. If you don’t, your door can be seriously damaged. The springs are under tension, so don’t take a risk. Let a professional take care of it.

Your safety has no price

Both your garage door and opener need to be checked regularly to ensure that they continue to operate safely and efficiently. A garage door has many dangerous parts. To avoid injury, we recommend you contact a company specializing in the repair of garage doors to regularly service your equipment. I didn't catch her name, but she was very helpful and guided me through some initial questions so I was able to give her the proper information to schedule an appointment. Then, R.H. showed up on time and was very helpful. The call was to replace my extension springs, but he also lubricated my VERY loud door parts and added metal to the top section to strengthen. Very proactive, great service, and didn't charge me any more then I was quoted for just the springs!! Thanks so much! I will definitely be using Environmental Door Inc. for my future needs and recommending you whenever possible.

To me that meant oil, grease, check rollers and weather-stripping. I gave them my cell phone number to call me with any questions. I was told that they might service it the same day. The following day I came home and realized my opener was unplugged. When I called to ask what was going on and why it wasn't fixed the girl said it was on her pile. I thought she was rude and trying to talk over me. Her statement to me was both openers and doors should be replaced. It wasn't a pleasant experience and we wont use them again.

Company response:

We did come out the same day you called for service and did lube and adjust both garage doors and operators like you requested. Unfortunately we didn't have the right kind of weatherstripping on our truck for your door. We had planned on returning with the weatherstrip. I'm sorry you had a bad experience but we've been in business for over 45 years and have thousands of happy customers. We strive to provide excellent customer service every day. We are trying to improve our response times during this busy season so that you know what's going on sooner. Thanks for your feedback.

Trying to install the bearings and torsion spring seem to be the problem. It appears that the installation guide and the door do not match. The end bearing brackets appear to need to mount differently. The amount of headroom that the quote said that I needed was 17", but with the bearings mounted the way it appears they go I need 20"+ for the cable drums to clear everything. This puts me right against the ceiling. I was hoping for some space to be able to work. With this right at the ceiling it is going to make it tough to set the torsion spring assembly.

Company response:

I'm sorry to hear about your frustration. One of our experienced installers did talk to you on the phone and give you some pointers the best he could. He said it sounded like you had the bearings in the wrong place? Hard to tell exactly without being there. The manufacturers instructions are very generic and not easy for inexperienced installers. Please call back and talk to our installer again if you cannot get this resolved. Garage doors are not easy to install!
